HIV/AIDS Coordinator
The City of Cleveland, Ohio is seeking an experienced public health professional for the position of HIV/AIDS Coordinator. The Coordinator will administer and manage all HIV/AIDS programs within the Health Department.
Responsibilities include: Supervision of all outreach and education activities, provide leadership, direction and management to the City's HIV/AIDS staff and activities to ensure accomplishment of program goals, develop and implement policies and procedures of HIV testing, exclusive of the STD program, assess effectiveness of program strategies and initiate and develop linkages with public and private health agencies as well as the Department. The Coordinator will represent the City on appropriate Greater Cleveland AIDS-related community task force and/or coalitions.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree accepted, Master's degree preferred, in a health-related or social service field. Candidate must have demonstrated success in program administration, strong management skills, prior relevant successful experience with social service, medical and community group liaison responsibilities, together with a working knowledge and/or specialized training in the area of HIV/AIDS issues. Must be computer literate.
